Christmas 2011.
1. What is your favourite thing about Christmas?
I like the general atmosphere at Christmas time. The whole season is magical and I love that feeling you get when you know it's nearly Christmas.
2. What is your favourite make up look for the festive season?
I usually wear my normal make up with additions that I have been given as presents. Avon make up is always a little stocking filler from my mum. I might try rock a red lip this year though if I'm feeling brave.
3.Real tree or fake tree?
I don't really mind really. I like the shape of a fake one but I like the smell of a real one.
4. Giving presents or receiving presents?
I like giving presents to people if I know I've got them something they'll love. But I sure do like to receive them too.
5. Do you open presents Christmas morning or eve/evening?
Christmas morning! Then when we go to my dad's in the evening we usually open our ones from him then.
6. Handmade Christmas cards or bought?
Generally I buy cards because I'm not too good at crafts. I used to love making them years ago at school though, especially if glitter was involved.
7. What is your favourite Christmas film?
Probably Elf. And the Santa Clause because I remember watching that when I was younger.
8. What's your favourite Christmas food?
Full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. I have one Christmas day and another Boxing day and I enjoy them every year. This year I've also eaten far too many mini mince pies in the run up to Christmas, not bad considering I didn't think I liked them.
9. What's your favourite Christmas song?
It's got to be Fairytale of New York for me. It's such a grumpy Christmas song but I love it. Me and my sister have a habit of breaking into Proper Crimbo occasionally too even though it's not great.
10. What's your favourite Christmas memory?
I remember being really young and getting a box full of barbies and things to go with them like a car and clothes. I loved them. I also remember one year it snowed in the days after Christmas and me and my dad played in the street with my virtual painball game.
I'm finally starting to feel festive. Working in retail is definitely tiring at this time of year but also quite exciting to help people find things for their loved ones. I'm looking forward to my 2 days off, which will be strange because last year as a student I got about 3 weeks. Today I was given my first present of the year from my boss which was really nice. I love this time of year!
