25 Random Facts

Well I've seen these kinds of post popping up all over the place recently. I quite enjoy reading about people's lives and like that the facts are so varied from person to person. I therefore present my own facts, some of which may be vaguely interesting and some may be downright dull, here goes.

1. I am properly scared of birds. It doesn't matter if it's a pigeon in the street or a giant emu I don't want to be in close proximity with it.

2. I drink a lot of tea in a day. I like it with milk and two sugars. I also have certain mugs that I do and don't like to drink out of.

3. I have never cried at a film. If I ever tell people this they usually tell me I'm heartless.

4. My sister's birthday is the day after mine, so I'm exactly 3 years and a day older.

5. I can't drive.

6. The only scar I have is on my leg. I got it when I fell trying to get into a caravan.

7. I can't wash up without washing up gloves because I can't stand the feeling of the bits in the water.

8. I have a varied music taste but the best concert I've ever been to was Bruce Springsteen last year. Closely followed by the Spice Girls in 2008. Seriously.

9. I really want to go skydiving.

10. I am so indecisive. So much so that my nickname at uni was Swiss, short for Switzerland, because I am always neutral.

11. My best friend has been my best friend since I was 4. She sat next to me in Reception and hasn't been able to get rid of me since.

12. Sometimes without thinking I still make an L with my hand to remind me which is my left and which is my right.

13. My favourite animal is a giraffe.

14. I'm not a fussy eater but foods I cannot stand are: coconut, marzipan and pineapple on pizza.

15. Over the years I've been lucky enough to travel to some amazing places. I really want to visit all the continents and only have South America and Antarctica to cross off. The latter one could be difficult.

16. I am a real introvert and am generally socially awkward and shy.

17. People have told me my celebrity lookalike is Anne Hathaway. I don't see it but definitely take it as a compliment. Although I'm pretty sure I couldn't pull off a cropped hairstyle as well as she does.

18. Some of my favourite tv shows ever include: Grey's Anatomy, One Tree Hill, Dexter and Friends.

19. My current favourite perfume is Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck and I don't care if that makes me sound like a 15 year old girl.

20. I have a real sweet tooth and will love you if you bring me cake.

21. I had braces between the ages of 18 and 20.

22. Apparently I wear my watch on the wrong hand (I'm right handed and I wear it on the right)

23. My nails are always painted, they don't feel like my hands if they're not.

24. I don't like cooking. If someone could make me food for the rest of my life I'd be very happy.

25. I studied History at Uni and I find the history of Communism and the Soviet Union/Eastern Europe really interesting. Russia is definitely on my list of places I'd love to visit.
