Autumn Nail Polish

I have too many nail polishes. There are some shades that I've barely worn and others that I've loved so much that there is hardly any left in the bottle. The shades below are ones which I think make the nails look autumn ready and yet are still wearable at other times of the year. I'm rarely one to stick to season trends and so I will probably be found with grey nails on the hottest day of the year and neon pink nails come Christmas. If we ignore that though, I think these shades are nice ones to invest in if you like your nails to be season appropriate.

To me these colours are classic but not boring and relatively understated making them good for workplaces. The Beauty UK Slate is probably my favourite nail polish ever, which is quite an accolade considering I have over 70. Grey is my favourite colour and this is my favourite shade (erotic book jokes aside) Purple ash is such a wearable colour and I was complimented on it by a customer at work the other day so it must look nice. This Avon colour reminds me of my best friend because she always used to borrow it from me, it's a great formula and really nice dark berry colour. Barry M mushroom is one which a lot of people own and the one I currently have on my fingernails. I think it can be quite classic, unless you add a leopard print accent nail like I have, ooops. Beauty UK smokey lilac is exactly as described, cheap and cheerful as well as being an unusual shade.

Wow that was quite a ramble about nail varnish! Who knew colder nights meant that your nails had to have an overhaul? Anyone have an shades they would recommend for autumn? I don't need much encouraging to buy more. Roll on the Models Own sale is all I can say!
